Hi

I'm having this wierd prob.. I've got an Athlon 1700 XP, 512 MB RAM, ASUS A7N266VM motherboard..

Back in feb i'd moved in to a house temporarily.. After setting up the system it just wouldn't power up.. the green light on the motherboard would come on but when i pressed the power button it refused to start up.. the CPU and processor fans would just twitch a little.. if i pressed the power button again nothing would happen.. switch the power off and on and then press the power button.. again the twitch and thats it.. i supposed that it was a problem with the SMPS(frontech) and decided replace it the next day..

next morning i thought why don't i just try again.. so i sat down and started doing the on,off,twitch thingy a couple of times, of course i didn't have much hope but then i just couldn't accept the fact that my PC wasnt working !! After abt 10 mins, to my amazement it just started up and i was so happy to hear the whirring noise of the fans.. of course I was confused.. but who cares ?? It was up and running and perfectly fine ..

the prob now is.. I just moved now to another house .. I've tried and tried hoping it would start up like last time.. I've given up.. decided to get another SMPS.. If anybody has any idea as to whats going on... PLEASE HELP !!
