    then, close to the bottom of this list, there is a lot of red Xs, spanning from 9:51:16 to 9:56 the source of the problem is cdrom...

    When you reload the ATI drivers have you used their Driver Cleaner?

    no... ill try that driver cleaning

    but, i used to use catalyst 5.11 drivers, then i reformatted and switched to 5.5 and finnaly 5.6 (which i have now).

    5.11 worked well on my old computer.... i could run all the games im trying to run
