Hi

I have been out today and purcahsed a 320gb toshiba external HDD. My PC was only working on USB 1 so I also purchased a USB 2 PCI card to run it through. When I try and send stuff to the HDD the light turns red after about 1 min and my PC freezes and the onloy way to correct it is to hit the reste switch. I have searched for hours on this subject on the net and so far to no success. If I plug my HDD inot a board based USB slot it works fine but obviously a lot slower which is no good for moving all my movies and music across and the all the other USB periphials like my modem and joystick and printer all work fine in the USB2 pci card so I assume that its working fine any ideas on why it crashes ?????
