0x0000001A: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
(Click to consult the online MSDN article.)
This memory management error is usually hardware related. See the General Troubleshooting of STOP Messages checklist above. If this occurs while installing Windows, also check the Windows system requirements including the amount of RAM and disk space required to load the operating system. If none of the above resolves the problem, see the MSDN article linked above for further steps.

So a Socket 775 would fit everything on my computer as well as a 478? I've also noticed that TigerDirect has cheaper and better CPU+Mobo combos for 775 than 478.

I believe that your current CPU is 478 so upgrading to 775 would require a new 775 CPU.
775 is the latest CPU socket type and supports PCI_E x16 Graphics Cards as well as the latest CPU's (dual-core etc.).

Note that that board you point out only has a PCI_E x1 slot.
This is not sufficient for a graphics card. So you will be limited to an AGP card.
Also it is a Micro ATX Form Factor rather than a standard ATX.
These are made for mid size towers and or desktop flat boxes. I would stay away from this.

Thanks.

Hmm, heh, my theories have yet to fail. I crashed within one second of joining a server in BFII. First the game just quit to desktop, followed by a DRIVER_IRQL a split-second later. Also, on Sunday, NHL 06 quit to desktop within a minute of running it. I crashed with a BSOD about 5 minutes later that night. Since Internet Explorer cannot just quit without warning like games, it gives an error message. These are all part of the crashes - applications terminating. So far it's only happened in games and IE.

Reason: More combos...

The first one is definitely the best! A 3.06ghz processor and only about $20 more expensive than the 2.93ghz.

That looks like a decent board. I know there are differences in shopping options and dollar values between Canada and the US but here are just some US finds for that board and CPU separately:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...?EdpNo=1649449
$119.97
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131574
$79.99
Just to point out that card does not support PCI_E graphics card but I believe you already have the AGP card. Also you will have to add on the CPU fan.
Anyway that is the same product: $284.99 Canadian compared to $199.96 US
Do those amounts come anywhere near being equal?

!!!
Values of both currencies are almost equal now, it's a damn pity I can't get that one here
However, I think I'll go with TD's Mobo+CPU combo. Now imagine if I got it...installed it...did XP's repair installation...and problems still persisted? You know...worst-case scenario because I have all the luck
