Ive reviewed this entire thread and recommend a holistic approach here.

These dumps are all over the map, different drivers, different faults, different reasons. The cause of your problem is something that will need to be identified through troubleshooting. jephree's current direction was what i was thinking as i approached the end of the thread, however, i concur with him that there isnt anything jumping out at me.

I'd like to recommend your next step is to peel the onion. I want you to do a "parallel install" as per http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=316941 to C:\WinXp2. Although a similar thing can be accomplished using msconfig, its my belief that a parallel is a much better and thorough test architecture.

Install the OS, no extra drivers not on the cd, and patch it current to sp2+security fixes.

Pick one app/game to exercise your machine. With this most minimal install, using only 'in-box' drivers, test. My hope is that the problem does not reproduce.

If it does, then you almost certainly have a hardware problem and should use this basic install to help you test as you swap components in and out.

If it does not repro when 'cleaned up', then you should slow add software and drivers back to the machine, testing as you go to determine which thing is causing the instability issues.

My guess is that you have a hardware problem along the lines of a bad motherboard or cpu. Good luck sir.

Thank you for your response, Mr. Hobart.

So I'm looking at a clean format?

Ayee, a format is not an option for me, I'll lose everything! Plus, you're already sure it's a bad motherboard, a format wouldn't help me

BTW, why does my computer crash ONLY in games?

I put a fan next to my computer and had it blowing in cool air. I played Battlefront II, surprisingly for about 3 or 4 minutes before it crashed with a DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL referring to P17.sys. I was also monitoring the temperatures with Everest, not one number came even close to 35 degrees Celsius.

However I did some research on P17.sys. In msconfig in the Startup tab, it is called Rundll32 P17 and the command is Rundll32 P17.dll,P17Helper. It is located in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run .

Wait, I think I misunderstood you. How does this parallel install work? The link only talked about a reformat which I thought you had implied.
