Noone can help you because you arent getting a valid dump file. you are not getting a valid dump because your page file must be larger than your availible memory. If you had a valid dump i think folks could give you some better advice.

Please increase your pagefile to be larger than your physical memory by at least 10% and get a new dump and run it through the wiz.

I assume you tried some special pool something or another.. you have to wait for it to crash to be usefull, but since your other dumps are coming up corrupt, im concerned you wont collect valid data.

Well, pagefile is at 1534MB. I think that's sufficient for my 1024MB of RAM. Anyways, I have a fool-proof way to get a quick BSOD. Run any game and just let it stay on the main menu. 10/10 times I'll get a BSOD in less than 5 minutes, and they follow the order that I talked about earlier.

ati2cqag.dll (Central Memory Manager / Queue Server Module) is a component from the software ATI Radeon Family version 6.14.274 by ATI Technologies Inc.. ati2cqag.dll version 6.14.274 has a file size of 196,608 bytes, and is most commonly found under the directory "system32"

Looks to be that way, but I'm still skeptical about the portcls.sys error since you already showed it is an audio driver.

Can portcls.sys and win32k.sys errors be caused by the video card?

Basically, if I don't do anything that uses the video card, I'll have no problems. I can surf the internet, listen to music, and work on Photoshop CS2, but the moment I turn on a game, it's "lights out".

The XFX Nvidia GeForce 6600GT 128MB DDR3 AGP 8x is back in stock in TigerDirect so I hope I can pick it up today. If I do, I'll also get myself an Ultra 80mm chassis fan, translucent, red and glow-in-the-dark

The TigerDirect store wasn't carrying the XFX, but I got the eVGA Nvidia GeForce 6600GT 128MB DDR3 AGP8x instead! It's $10 cheaper too, but same amazing card! Plus, the heatsink has a picture of a Hell Knight from Doom 3! How can you not love it?

I plugged it in along with the 80mm chassis fan and things couldn't be more perfect! Carefully overclocked the card to some nice settings and things couldn't be better! I'm spending the whole night boosting all of my games and almost urinating myself! (That last part was an exaggeration)

Well, let's see now. Where to begin?

Ok, started this morning. I turned on Battlefront II, joined a server and crashed within two minutes. Debugged blue screen and there was no driver referral. Just faulted at "pool_corruption". It was a 0x8E error. I ran Battlefront II again. Same 0x8e crash. Then I ran Doom 3 Resurrection of Evil and surprisingly played for 2 hours straight. I went to take a leak and came back to a BSOD. However, this one was a 0x7E and referred to portcls.sys. I also got another BSOD in Battlefront II, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL for ntoskrnl.dll or .sys, I can't remember. I have the debuglogs, but here's the thing.

What's different about these crashes is that they're not as severe as before. Before, a crash would lead to at least 2 more BSODs before the comp even got to desktop. Now it's just one BSOD and computer loads correctly.

I took out the new RAM in my DIMM2 slot and everything is perfect. I put the RAM back in its package ready to be swapped at TigerDirect. Running the sexy video card is nice, but 512MB of RAM just doesn't cut it for games such as Doom 3 on Ultra Quality. I've got KOTOR II and Battlefront II to keep me busy in the meantime

So I'm glad to say it's been solved. It has looked to be a defective memory module. However I would like to request this thread stay open until I get another stick. Hopefully I can report in that everything is perfect.

So yup, that's that. Played Battlefront II for about *boing* 3 hours. Tad repetitive, but anything to benchmark the situation. At least at the moment I have a stable system running...did I mention how sexy my video card is???

BTW, the inside of my computer is "uber-cool"! The chassis fan and the sexy video card really keep things in place, even though the card is a powerful and hot, sexy piece of machinery
