The sound just randomly stopped, and dissapeared!
I'm not sure what stopped it, i've triple checked the cable and it's fine, i've made sure nothing was loose, but no sound comes out. After some thinking, i plugged my microphone, and unmute the microphone, and i could hear myself. so it's working... but it's not. Blah.

Can someone please help me? I'm running Windows XP on an 'E-machine 3260'. It might also be useful for you to know *not sure how* that the monitor and the speakers are attached to eachother - speakers on the bottom of the monitor...
I used the DAL scan thingy, maybe it can help someone.

As this is a new problem try a System Restore to a point prior to the problem:

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

If that doesn't help check your settings via start > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices

The heck?! it returned... I don't think i even DID anything...

Damn this inferior machine!!
