I have noticed a lot of threads reporting this same problem, hoever none that I have found so far have posted the solution that worked for me -

In BIOS, change the IDE to :

For NON-S-ATA users - P-ATA from S-ATA.

For S-ATA users - S-ATA from P-ATA.
