Help appreciated
I have a laptop badged RM with a P4 1.8 ghz with 256 ram. I can only get 640x480 resolution. Tried all the usual but it can not find or list any drivers. Someone has suggested the graphics chip might be faulty but I don't know enough to check, can manage to add memory but that is about it.
Put in a replacement hard drive, formatted then XP Pro installed
If it is the chip, can it be repaired or replaced ?

You probably just need to reload the graphics drivers.

Can you be more specific about the computer ID?

I don't find much searching for RM

Look under start/Run/ dxdiag | Display

Also try this scan and see what is under System Model
