can I network a dead pc?

I know the title sounds rather stupid. I flashed my bios and it is now fried, I still get power, but no display or anything. I don't have a laptop conversion kit yet, and I want to connect the laptop to a desktop and use the drive, etc. Can I do this? It is an HP Pavilion ze4500. There is power coming into the network connector. Nothing powers up, and yet I know it is getting power. I don't want to trash it, nor do I want to buy another mb. So, is this feasible? If so, how do I do this?
    Thank you for any help.

There is no way to get into a dead computer. There are only 2 options. 1: Replace the BIOS. 2: Put the drive into another computer.

A 2.5" to 3.5" IDE hard drive adaptor (available for around £10) will allow you to fit the laptop hard disk inside the desktop PC. Laptop hard disks are usually very easy to remove and often simply slide out of the side or drop out from underneath once you've removed a couple of screws.
