I have a problem that has puzzled me completely!

I recently replaced my motherboard as my old one burnt out. My new one is an ASRock (AMD). The computer now seems to be working fine but the monitor isn't talking!

When the new motherboard was installed, it was tested with a CRT monitor and the computer worked fine. When I linked it up to my TFT, there was no response from the monitor. The same thing happened with a friend's TFT monitor I borrowed (which I know works perfectly).

All cables are inserted and I can see no obvious reason as to why it's doing this! The thing that's confused me most is that it worked fine with the CRT!

Incase it's relevant, monitor is a Relisys and hard drive beeps once on startup!

Any advice would be very welcome

Your TFT operator on your motherboard may be the problem. Advice? Get it checked!
