Why do i get the following message? CMOS Checksum Bad!!! Press F1 for setup
I have a ECS Motherboard, Model 945 P-A version 1.1, Pentium D 920 Intel Chip (dual 2.8 GHz) , 2-512 chips of dual channel DDR (ddr2) speed 533 MHz memory from Kingston, a 256 MB PCI-e video card, 300 GB HD and a Lightscribe DVD-RW.
Please help ! me set my bios properly.

First try resetting your CMOS. Remove the battery and reset your jumpers.

I cannot find a 945 P-A at ECS
http://www.ecsusa.com/downloads/bios.html
But if you can find your board I would suggest flashing your BIOS.
