Hi Group, Could you please give me some information on how to fix this problem. When I turn the computer on it makes a continuous beeping sound and freezes on the post screen? I also get an error message on the post screen saying “Keyboard error”.
The keyboard is plugged into a PS2 connection. I don’t have a problem with the keyboard because I have tried a different board and still have the same problem.
I can’t even get in into the bios!!! Can some one HELP, Thank you, Mark

I used a Diagnostic post card on the AGP motherboard and I keep getting the same error code. Which is C1? Can someone help me with this error…? “C1”

Check all the keys on your keyboard you may have one that's stuck down.

Normally pressing Del as the PC boots will get you into the BIOS

I'm using a new keyboard from my second PC and have the same problem. It won't stop beeping and i can't get anything on my screen now not even the post screen.

Was this machine ever working? Is it an old machine? Did you just build it? etc.

My first try would be removing except the CPU; Graphics Card; and RAM (1 stick only).

See if that will POST.
