I have a Belkin wireless router, how do I stop others from seeing and accessing the internet throug my router.

Your router will probably have a configuration screen that you can access through Internet Explorer. On most wireless routers, there will be an area for encryption. When you enable encryption, your router will only be accessible by those PCs and laptops that have been set up with the correct "password" to be allowed to communicate with it.
