    Siemens H.d.d

I Have Aquired A Siemens Scenic Mobile 360 Laptop, Unfortunately The Hdd Is Missing But Machine Goes Into Setup Etc So It Appears To Work. Is It Possible To Still Obtain A H.d.d For One Of These Laptops Or S There An Adapter Available So As It Would Accept Any Laptop Drive

From what I can see of this laptop it would take a standard laptop hard drive.

Do you have some reason to think otherwise?

Well it is hard to see without seeing but I believe all 2.5" laptop drives have a standard 44 pin connection.

There may be an adapter used in between the drive and the laptop. Fujitsu Siemens no longer lists that model so it is hard for me to find details although what I do see looks like any other laptop.

Is the drive a slide in type or is it internal?

    This page shows some variety

with an adapter illustrated in this version:

You might be best off just stopping into a computer shop and letting them take a look just to get eyes on info.

This Sony laptop was described as such:
Getting the Sony laptop hard drive out of the cage is simple enough if you have a quality screwdriver and strong wrists. There are four screws holding the drive itself into the cage, plus the add-on connector that often fools people into thinking that the laptop hard drive is something other than a standard 2.5" IDE drive.

That is a 44 pin connector. Laptop standard 2.5" IDE drive. You just need a laptop hard drive not a tower 3.5" hard drive.

No need to stick with Fujitsu but that's what I Googled here:
