Hi I need help the laptop will not boot the screen stays dark the hard drive clicks for about 30 secs when switched on every thing seems to work cd rom flopy etc can anyone help cheers

HI JEPHREE I HAVE JUST TRIED ON EXTRNAL MONITOR AND IT SAYS NO SIGNAL FOUND, I HAVE ALSO PUT A NEW HARD DRIVE IN WHICH HAS NOW STOPPED THE CLICKING

Is this still under warranty? Did this problem just happen all of a sudden?

Unfortunately HiGrade does not have much of a support site nor do the have manuals on-line.

If you have 2 different monitors receiving No Signal the next step would be to check the graphics card.

Some notebooks have these built-in to the motherboard and some have a replaceable card.

Do you have your manual to check this out? If the card is replaceable you could try a new card. If it is on-board there is not much you can do if the board is damaged.

One other possibility is to reload the board drivers and or flash the BIOS. Although this is not possible without a monitor signal
