Hi Dico31,
I know that this may sound silly but are you sure that the system speaker works?! There has been many a time when I've puzzled over a "dead" system that was giving me no POST beep code, only to discover that the system speaker was missing, wired up the wrong way round or disconnected!
If the CPU fan spins, then power is obviously getting to the motherboard. That's not to say that it's enough power (you might have a dodgy power supply) but there is some power, at least, so let's assume for now that it's OK.
In cases like this, I always go back to basics. All that most systems need in order to get to the POST is the motherboard, processor, processor fan and one memory module. Disconnect everything else (apart from the system speaker). Make sure it's all securely fitted into the case with the board separated from the backplate on the case with suitable metal posts.
Some newer PCs with DDR RAM need it to be installed in pairs but even those will probably switch on and report a memory error if only one module is fitted.
Some older systems require a floppy drive to be connected (IDE and power) but new systems are often sold without floppy drives now so newer motherboards don't tend to have this requirement.
You can get a PC to POST even without a graphics card normally, although you won't see anything on the screen so you'll be relying on that system speaker to give you a beep code!
Let us know how you get on with it stripped down to the bare essentials

spoke with my friend he said he always had one post beep on start up but one day the pc crashed and when he rebooted nothing started only the cpu fan and the cd would start and the floppy, the monitor stays black.I have removed the cd and floppy but it still dose the same.

So do you get any beep code when the system is stripped back to the basic required components as suggested on Monday night?
