Packard Bell Imedia Mc 1608 - How Do I Connect Camcorder Using Firewire Cable

    Hi,
I have the above computer and sony digicam. When we bought the camera the guy sold me a pro series IEEE 1394 Firewire Cable and said I needed that to be able to connect the Camera to the computer to copy etc.
I have just decided to try to connect the camera and I dont seem to have the correct port on the back of the PC. Does anyone know how I can do this and if I need to purchase something to plug into the PC so the cable fits??
Sorry if this is really obvious but I dont have a clue!
    Thanks!!

That computer does not have a firewire port. You would need to install a PCI firewire card or see if the camera will accept a USB cable.
