I think that you'll have a lot of trouble selling it on Ebay unless you can advise a potential buyer what's wrong with it. I've looked at your 3 threads (not in great detail as they're very long!) and it seems, from what I could follow, that you've had ongoing problems with the hard disk, even after replacing it. So the PC probably wants a new motherboard. That's the biggest repair job a PC could need, which doesn't go in your favour. And there's still no guarantee that that is definitely the cause.

I do agree with you that there are some nice parts inside your PC but, if it's not working, I'm afraid it's not worth any more than $350-450 US (£200-£300 UK).

As individual components, it's worth roughly as follows:
    Processor: £40 ($65)
    RAM: £25 ($40)
    Graphics: £25 ($40)
    Sound: £15 ($25)
    Speakers: £25 ($40)
    CD-Writer: £10 ($17)
    DVD-Writer: £20 ($35)
    Keyboard/mouse: £5 ($8)
    Case/PSU: £10 ($17)

Hard disk: £40 ($65) if it's definitely not faulty
Motherboard: £20 ($35) if it's definitely not faulty

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but brand new PCs with warranties are so cheap these days that second-hand ones are worth very little now ...... and broken ones are worth even less

well even though it is bad news im still glad to have some help. i guess ill have to leave it up to the bidders to define how much its worth

Don't forget that, although Ebay is a very busy site and items at the right price tend to sell relatively quickly, their charges are very high. The D-A-L Trader auction site is completely free to use and, even forgetting the good Google ratings that the D-A-L sites get, there are also over 10,000 registered members on D-A-L.com.

To get to the D-A-L Trader site, just click the brown 'Auctions' tab at the top of the screen
