SATA drive now showing full capactiy

Hi, I recently reformatted my system and I know I had this same problem the last time I did it, but for some reason I can't think of what I did to fix it.

I have my main OS (XP) on an IDE drive and then a 36gb WD raptor drive for some apps and things. Anyway after the reinstall it is only showing as 2.97 GB instead of the full 36.

Again, I have fixed this before, I just can't remember what I did.

I downloaded some SATA drivers for my MB, but I can't seem to install them.... it doesn't come with an installer or anything, and the windows hardware/device manager doesn't seem to want to do anything either. It is basically the files you put on a floppy for when you are first installing windows. But I have fixed this before after I installed windows so I know it can be done, I am just coming up blank right now.

Ok I got it. The only way I could get it to work was to use the data lifeguard tools from WD.
