Hi,
I am running a "compusys pc" Pen 3 800Mhz, 128 ram, with on-board graphics & an AOPEN Motherboard.
It works ok, but when I tried fitting a GeFORCE 2 MX/32MB AGP CARD, it would not boot. Infact, it doesn't POST beep, or get to a screen.
When I take out the card, it is ok. (Have I got to disable on-board graphics?)
There are no other cards installed.
(I am fitting the AGP card because the screws are broken off flush on the motherboard AGP port.)
Thanks.
Most boards will auto detect the AGP. Is this a new card? Are you sure that it works OK?
What is the AOPEN model #?

AOPEN model # MX3S R1.08
Thankyou for the download link.
I will try the card in the original pc tomorrow, to see if it works in that pc, & go from there.
I put your model in the AOPEN site and there is a manual plus BIOS & driver updates.
Pressing Delete on power on enters BIOS Setup. Perhaps check the Video/Graphics options there.
Hi,
Thanks for the help. I put in another AGP card & now the pc works alright.
I think the original card went wrong, because when I put it in another pc, that would not boot as well.
The website links were usefull.
Thanks for the update and the thanks!
