    No video to monitor...

    This is really weird.

My pc was in storage a few months, and I just got it yesterday. It booted fine, and was chugging along for about 6 or 7 hours when it crashed and simply shut off.

So I opened it up, and found that that fan that radiates off my liquid cooling block wasn't turned on, so heat was dissipating correctly. I fixed, and it booted just fine.

So playing on it for about 20 minutes after that, the screen froze. Dead. I went to reboot the machine, and nothing came up on the monitor.

Since then, I've replaced my AGP card (6800 GT) with a PCI card to make sure it wasn't the monitor. No dice. I hooked up another monitor, still nothing. I'm getting the "Your monitor is not connected" error.

Everything turns on fine- my system fans, my CPU fans, my GPU fans, my harddrives, everything. I unplugged all my drives, popped out all my RAM (and cycled through it) and even reset the CMOS. Just no video output.

This is the damnedest thing I've ever seen in 15 years of computing...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Ty

Are you getting any beep codes? Any audible signs that the system is loading normally into the OS without video?
