Heya!, got another little problem again!, computer starts up with no signal running through the DVi & VGA, i have tried reseating the graphics card multiple times, but still nothing, when i start my PC it has 2 fast beeps and 8 usual beeps, i am using AMIBios and this amount of beeps usually indicates a graphics write/read error, what can i do?, as i said before i am running 1.1Ghz Anthlon, 576Mb Ram, ATI Radeon Sapphire Atlantis 9600XT 265Mb (brand new)
if it is my grpahics card i do not understand why because it is new and it has no major problems usually so !!

have you still got the old card or can you borrow another card to try

by trying it you will eliminate any problems with the new card

ye i got the old NVidia TNT2 64Mb, but nothing should be wrong with the graphics

tried it and nothing works!, when i plug in the graphics card the fan spins so i know power is there but nothing else happens just the same old AMI BIOS beeps. HELP ME PLEASE !

you can confirm your error codes here but as you say the codes indicate a read/write error

the two beeps refer to memroy issues have you tried or can you try a different stick of ram as if that is the problem it could be causing memory problems on the graphics card which will/could lead to the 8 beep codes

as i have only just noticed you have two difrferent threads running at the same time about the samr thing i will close this one as brain damage has said in the other one try a larger psu atleast 500 watts
