I need some help with this problem my computer was working fine untill I put some new memory in pc 3200 400 mhz 512 mb no when I try to turn the computer on it lights up and all the fans work fine but it still says cable not connected I have looked at every thing I can think of please help me if you can

Have you tried removing the new ram and putting the old ram back in?

yes it was one of the first things I did but I have since found out the motherboard is dead so nemotherboard is now on the way thanks for your help
