    hi there!
maybe he was talking about Windows XP with SP included..
are you sure the disk your using is in good condition?
    how about your cd-rom?

    here's you should do:
    - scan your hard disk for bad sectors..download a utility software for your hard disk..usually, u can download this from your hd's manufacturer's site.
    - test your memory. search and download memtest.

This thread is one of 3 on the same basic issue posted by pleasehelp.

As the first two of these threads have become very complex & repetitive I think it best to stick with the current thread in the XP section:

    http://www.d-a-l.com/help/showthread...3910#post83910

That being said I will close these other two threads:

    http://www.d-a-l.com/help/showthread.php?t=32695
    http://www.d-a-l.com/help/showthread.php?t=25933

pleasehelp: if you would like me to reopen these threads please PM me or another Moderator. It is my opinion that sticking to the current thread would be the most expedient way towards a solution.
