whenever i boot up my system i get the safe mode menu with the
options: safe mode, safe mode with networking, last known good config etc...
I select one of the options and all that happens is it restarts back to this same menu.

this is what i have done to my system. i recently installed a new mother board. im using the same HD with Win xp pro intstalled.

is there something i need to do for my system to recognize the new MB?
i tried booting from my winxp cd, and i get a setupreg.hiv error in the xp setup saying to exit...

do i need to boot from my MB cd, and setup the MB...

i dont know if this is a software/hardware issue... if the boot menu is coming up right away, im thinking hardware... i also removed all unnecessary drives and made it basic as possbile.. with just HD, RAM, CPU.. everything else is onboard
