can any 1 help plz.

I recently deleted a partition on my hdd. It was 4 gig with 2 gig on each drive. i had C: and D: now their is just C: which is wht i wanted. but the problem is. After the other side of the drive was deleted it had left C: with 2 Gig which is what it had b4 i deleted the partition. This should be 4 Gig now right? i looked through the drive settings and it said 2000mb of unallocated space. Could any 1 help me plz. thx fonconn

You don't say which operating system you are using but if its below XP/2000 (which is another story altogether) simply boot from Win98 CD, choose boot with CDROM support. run fdisk and choose create a new partition - use unallocated space and d: will miraculously appear, reboot, format it and ur ready to go.

One would assume however that if you could delete a partition, you could recreate it again!
