Hi all,

I hav ejust got a old comptuer froma mate, he did not want it anymore.

I was just upgrading his old os which was WIN98SE to XP Pro, but after the installaion was finished, the Geforce 2 MX200 32mb graphic card, appeared as a CODE 10 which means the device is not working, i have updated to the latest NVIDA Drivers for my Geforce 2 MX200, but still the same error


If this is a really obvious answer, can someone please tell mea si am only 14 years old, i know basic things like adding Hard drives and changing cd rom drives and RAM and adding AGP and PCI ect, so if i need to do anythign liek that, can someone pelase help me here!!!!!

or maybe i shoudl just go back to the old WIN98SE............................PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Have you had a look on the Microsoft site to see if XP Pro has any issues with old nvidia cards? I assume you are getting a display, why not just live with it - otherwise get a new graphics card.

Sorry, totally off topic but I had a KX 125 when I was 14!

yeah, if you can see an error, then your video card is obviously working. Is there any performance problem other than the error message, or is it just something that pops up?
