    P5RD1-V motherboard and big HDD??

    Hello nice people,

    I just bought my nice new pretty cool asus P5RD1-V motherboard,and i asked the seller what is the biggest size of HDD, and than he told me at maximum is 160GB???. It sound to me as uncorrect.
    as planning to put HDD Maxtor 250,my question is is it possible?.My os is XP.

    I see no limitation as to drive size for that board. You may want to load the latest BIOS anyway.

    I do note in this article an issue with installing XP onto a SATA drive:

    You will need XP SP1 (at least) to detect over 137GB per drive. You should have SP2 anyways.
