I'm a non-techie kind of woman. And I really need you guys' advice before I send my PC for repair. My PC starts to shut down after about 5 minutes running.
The screen goes blank BUT the red light is still on. I ran those antivirus programs (Norton & FixBlast) but just shutted down in the middle.
The window w32blaster removal program found nothing (I could run this becoz it's only takes about 2 minutes.)
Then, I have to plug-off and restart th ePC but the sudden shutdown continues. Is it the hardware(powers supply, spikes, mobo or what??) or the software problem.
Please help and advise me. Many thanks for all.

My system: PEntium4 2.00 Ghz 480 MBRAM. XP Service Pack 2. Mobo: P4VMM2 micro AT VIA P4Z266A & VT8235.

many thanks for the adice. yes, i check the cpu temp. is it thru BIOS?
