I am baffled. The keyboard keys on my newly home built pc will not repeat. All the keys work but if you try holding down a key or repeating the same keystroke it does not register. The same problem exists in all programmes (WORD, OUTLOOK etc etc). The keyboard is a Microsoft Multimedia one - I have used it on another pc with same motherboard/processor and it works fine. The motherboard is a NEO4 Platinum with Athlon 64 3200 processor - all brand new and not the first pc I have built. I would really appreciate some help as I built this pc for my best mate and I can't figure out what is causing the keyboard to malfunction. It is not connected by USB.

Have you checked the settings via Control Panel | Monitor ?
