This morning my printer won't start up - it is flashing all 3 lights, and has Error:0xf0af8004 followed by a line of gobble-de-gook on the panel. The HP director on my computer says the printer is disconnected. I've tried and checked all the connections. Can anyone help please?

right can we please have some more info, like has anyone touched it etc, any new installations, up to date drivers? etc can teh pc still recignise it etc

No one has touched it and nothing has changed. It was switched off last night as usual, problem appeared this morning on power up. There was a thunder-storm nearby last night.

The printer is completely locked up, doesn't respond to anything. Teh PC does not recognise that it is there.
