The onboard sound works intermittently. It'll play a game and then when you turn the computer off, the sound does not work again. You have to go to device manager, remove the sound info and reboot and then let it pick it up again. I finally turned the on board sound off, installed a sound card and then same thing happens. Once you play a game and turn the computer off and back on, you don't have any sound again. You have to once again go to device manager, uninstall sound info, reboot and let it pick up the sound card. Do you have any idea what is causing this problem?

Also another problem on another machine is the modem. It constantly picks the modem up in com 2, no matter what PCI slot you put it in. There is no jumpers on the modem - it is a Lucent modem. When you go into device manager, it does not even recognize that there is a com 2 port at all. It only recognizes com 1, 3 and 4. I also cannot change the com port to any other port. Any suggestions other than using it as a door stop. Thanks and have a great day.
