When ever i try to burn cds my drive tells me to insert a blank disk but i have already inserted a blank disk i have tried reinserting the disk a number of times but it still doesn't work and i know i have a cd writer because it says Hp Cd Writer on it.

Is this a new problem? Were you ever able to burn CD's on that drive? Can it read CD's?

What is the exact HP computer model? What is your Operating System? Are you using a burning program?

my cousin copied a game onto disk using my computer before. ive had this problem for quite a long while now and my computer is a hp pavilion 7965 windows xp and i have been using a burning programe and i tried alot of different programes them

and non of them instructions help please help me.
