I'm using Win ME, and my media players are Win MP9 and Winamp.
Whenever I try and watch anything using either player, I get audio okay but the screen is so dark I can hardly see the video.
I've tried adjusting the brightness and contrast controls, makes no difference.
Checked my graphics drivers, most upto date ones are installed.
Any help would be appreciated.

do you get an eror mesage?
has this always been a problem or is it recent?
what are the fyle types you are trying to play

Ther's no error message, it has been going on for a while. The last couple of files I tried were wmv ones.

have you tried any others... asf, vob ect?
have you got the llatest versions of the software?

Its the same with whatever files i use, i know the files themselves are okay because i've viewed them on my laptop.

im not sure what it could be... ill look into it for you.
I thaught it would have beed a graphics card driver... but if you have the latest drivers i dont know what it could be.......
Have you tried re-installing them?
