NVidia & Mem Clock
My system is as follows:
AMD Sempron(tm) Processor 3100+
Current Clock Speed 1799mhz
Microsoft Windows XP Home Service Pack 2.0
Memory 2 x 128MB 1x 512MB pc2100 Total Mem 768 MB
Fixed hard disk HDS722540VLAT20 (~38 GB) 2 partitions
Fixed hard disk MAXTOR 6L020J1 (~19 GB)
Motherboard: SiS - 755 Winfast K8S (but this isn't listed in any specs)
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 Driver Version 6.14.10.7776
Monitor:Syncmaster 152v
DirectX 9c
My problem is when playing Graphic intensive games I have problems with graphics rendering but not all the time, what I have noticed is that when I run "Everest" my GPU mem is reported aswhen there are problems :
Memory Bus Properties
Bus Type DDR Width 64-bit
Real Clock 88 MHz (DDR)
Effective Clock 177 MHz
but it is reported as:
Memory Bus Properties
Bus Type DDR Width 64-bit
Real Clock 166MHz (DDR)
Effective Clock 333 MHz
when there are no problems.
When I run DXDIAG on the test direct 3d the graphics cube spins like mad so fast you can hardly see it with the 88mhz reported.
Any ideas why i'm getting these conflicting reports and performance for my graphics card I've tried changing drivers re-installing windows even but nothing seems to solve my problems and worst of all I can't get it to change to one or the other setting it seems completly random.
Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.

i take it your not running any overclocking programs and your cmoss settings are all normal?..... 2 things you can try, first try removing your gfx card (earth yourself first to clear statick) clean your card with a very soft brush, reinstall your gfx card, switch on pc, download a fresh new gfx driver, remove all old gfx drivers from system and install new driver, if this still does not clear your problem, you may need a new gfx card.....

Already tried removing card and cleaning plus I set cmos back to original with clear cmos jumper, the other thing I thought of was flashing the graphics Bios but I haven't had any look with this can't seem to find correct bios or utility to perform a flash, my thinking is if it looks like I need a new card I may as well and try to flash it.........
