have a amd-duron with a shuttle ak12 motherboard running a 750mhz prosseser
when i burn a dvd it gets half way through burning then i get a blue error screen then it reboots itself,could it be overheating,could it be the motherboard,or could it be the cpu.every technician ive had out they tell me different things and try to skim me for money,what do you think the problem is.

my son had the same problem and it turned out to be the cdrom drive, there was nothing wrong with his drive, just not compaterble with his motherboard, he changed it and was fine after that, i'm not saying thats whats wrong with yours but.......you can but try.
