When trying to back up my hard drive, I receive the error message "Access violation at address 00000000. Read of address 00000000." I did find postings on this web site suggesting changing the Registry keys, but immediately following a posting warning of making changes that could prevent your computer from running, but no other suggestion of what to do. Is this a problem with Windows, or the Pinnacle software?

Why not try another form of backup?

I'm not sure I understand your question........

Are you suggesting using another program, or another method of backing up within Pinnacle? If the latter, what other is there? I've tried doing it with and without the wizard, backing up the entire computer and only backing up my files (not the programs), every which way I can think of with the same end result.
