Power up Issues
I have built my machine from scratch, but when I turn it on, nothing happens, apart from the Power LED, and motherboard light coming on and the HDD light flickers once for a milli second. The PSU dosn't even come on.
I have:
Motherboard - Intel Eatonville S775 I915g ATX FSB800 DDR2 SATA Retail Box
Processor - Intel Pentium 4 530 3.0GHZ HT Skt775 FSB800 1MB Cache Retail Boxed CPU
Case - I-Cute 0314TL ATX Gaming Case in Black with side window and 400w PSU
As well as Memory, HDD etc...
Any ideas what the problem could be - i have followed the manufactueres instructions for connection the PSU up to the motherboard, and have connected the cables from power swicth to motherboard perfect.

The Problem might be your CPU, i had a similar thing happen to my pc i had messed around with my cpu and not put it back in properly and when i tried to turn it on lights would come on but nothing was happening, so make sure your CPU is installed correctly.
Hope this solves your Problem.

The new 775 LGAs are difficult to install. Since the pins are now in the socket instead of the processor its easier to bend them. Pull the processor and look at the socket for any bent pins. If you have even 1, the MB is toast.
