I recently installed a sound card, but did not have the driver disk, so I went to Soundblaster.com and found the appropriate driver. It appeared to be installing Ok untill I was prompted to click OK to continue with install or Cancel to quit. Each time I clicked Ok, the computer froze..no mouse, no CTRL/ALT/DETETE. So, I went to Best Buy and bought Soundblaster Audigy 2, and everything seemed fine. I could hear and play CD's, games, etc. But after about 10 minutes, the icons and mouse all started to flicker (very annoying), so I shut the computer off. Now, when it gets to the "Windows is starting up" screen, it freezes. Completely. No mouse, no F2 keys...Any suggestions? Thank you.
