Abit VI7 not starting
I have an abit vi7 motherboard.
connected to a 450W PSU, CD-Rom, DVD Rewriter, two floppy drives, card reader, 120GB SATA HDD, 80GB SATA HDD, 256MB Radeon 9600, USB PCI Card, Linksys Wireless Card, 2.6GHz Pentium 4 Processor, a 512MB PC2700 333 Ram chip, a 1GB PC2700 333 Ram chip.
The computer is running Windows XP.
My computer has been working for a year and a half. But a couple weeks ago i found that the computer was not turning off properly, the PSU would not switch off unless i turn it off at the back.
Since 2 days ago it has not worked.
The computer shut down as normal.
But, when i press the power button now, the fans start, HDDs start, Processor starts, wireless card starts, but the screen remains turned off.
I have tested other HDD, Graphic Cards and Ram chips, but it still leaves the screen off.
Can someone suggest a way of repairing this, or suggest parts that need to be replaced?

Is there any indication that the monitor is working? Power light? No Signal message?
Have you tried another monitor?
Have you tried clearing the CMOS?

I have tried another monitor and clearing the CMOS.
I have tested the RAM.
I have gone and bought a new motherboard and RAM, and now it works.
Thanks for helping
