    Thumbs up "no video input" advise please :)

    system:
    P4 intel
    motherboard chipset= intel brookdale i845
    256 SDRAM
    bios= american megatrends
    motherboard= microstar inc/MS-6506
    processor 1.79GHz
    Windows xp home edition, servive pack 2
    graphics card= sapphire radeon 9600 256
    power supply= 245 max

    As the title suggests i have a video card problem, when i play medal of honor allied assult, sometimes the vpu recovery is tripped, or i get the message "no video input". this fault never occurs when i play a less demanding game, ie championship mangager. Is this because my power supply is too low, or is my processor not up to the job? The failure happens randomly, sometimes the game will run for hours with no fault, other times it happens very frequently. I would appreciate some help from anyone, thanks for your time.

    Just another thought, but I have two Ideas.
    1) You may at times be running out of power because of your small power supply. Pentium 4's are generally pretty power intensive, and maybe your vid card is not getting the power needed at times to run, thus the no video input message.

    2) Maybe your card is overheating at times when it is being relied on by different parts of your game.

    Just some ideas I had.
