i am trying to put my sky digital box on to my pc so that i can use the hard drive to capture and watch tv

am i correct in thinking that i can go scart out from the sky box to a video converter then s-video to a gainward ultra 1960 xp graphics card


could you please tell me what additional software i will need to capture the signal on to my hard drive

as these items are not cheap i would like to get it right first time so if anybody can help asap plese either pm or post in this thread as it might be of help to other people as well

some sort of video capture software.....theres plenty of it about but its just deciding which one

as for the hardware, i don't know
