I have an interesting problem, a friend of mine is using an old pc. Asus p5a, amd 486/500, 512m ram.

After 4 days of working out a boot up glitch I have a strange bug. The linksys nic fanishes, "stops working". The only way to get it back is to reseat the card. before doing that I make sure the nic is securly in place. Also when it does occur the two leds flash on and off. I have swapped out the card and tried a different slot. any ideas?? TIA
