well i have a Dell m992 Crt 19' monitor and i've been getting the same problems as shadow_1 in a previous post but now i have a new prob... i don't know if its software/hardware ... my res is 1280x1024 and up to a few months ago the screen kept doing the mad flicker where it seemed like it had a mini shutdown then it would come back... so the main problem here is now my desktop is too large for my screen ( yes i messed with the monitor adjustments, res changes, refreshrate changes) basically everything i could do... i'm thinking my monitor had a stroke from those flicker problems of before and now its just slowly dying... any info on any of this would be helpful i can post a screenie of what it looks like to help better identify the problem. Have you gone into the Control panel display group and setup magnify? I know that some cards have that ability.

I will also look through the Dell support site for any issues with the M992.

ok this is how my desktop looks... Desktop Here i do not have the magnifier active tho.. on a side note when i pressed the PrtScr key to take the screenshot it showed up in photoshop with the full screen not how my monitor is actually displaying it.
