Bought ADSL modem - not compatible with NTL broadband

Just bought a new laptop and was looking forward to installation of broadband yesterday. A few weeks back I bought a Netgear ADSL modem and wireless router. Unfortunately the NTL broadband package that was installed provides me with one cable - a 'RF' cable to plug into the modem. Of course my modem does not have a RF socket only the usual phone jack socket. My question is can I get some sort of converter or do I need to return the modem and buy a different type?

I hate to be the barer of bad news, but there is no conversion tool that I'm aware of (and trust me I've worked for Maplins).

You'll need to get a modem from NTL directly. Sorry

    Telewest are the same too
