i had an amd athlon 64 2800 with an asus k8n mobo 1Gb pc 2700 memory an xfx gforce 6600gt graphics card with a 60gb hdd nec dvd dual layer multi format writer, sony cdrw drive and 420 watt psu. and upgraded to amd athlos 64 3700+ same mobo 1.5Gb pc 3200 Memory same graphics 160gb sata hdd 60gb ata hdd as slave ( formatted)now same cd /dvd rom drives same psu... the old setup ran a lot faster than the one i got now, will a new psu increase my slow performance if not what will???
