    motherboard change

    hi
i recently installed a Asus A7V333 Motherboard / AMD XP2100 CPU / 1Gb RAM on to my computer. i also bought a new power supply and changed my graphics card.

but i am having a problem, which is that the computer won't start up. when i trn the power supply on at the main there is a led on the motherboard that turns on to indicate that the motherboard is getting power. but when i press the switch on the power supply it does not turn on. i hae tested the cpu and the memory as well as the graphics card on another computer and they all work fine. so what could the problem be?

any help would be greatly appreciated

Double check that the power switch from the front of the case is connected to the motherboard the right way around (If in doubt try it both ways. It wont cause any damage as it can only work one way!).

If not try using the reset button to switch it on. Sometimes holding the reset switch can turn on the PC, depending on the motherboard.
