Unhappy Laptop boot up and black screen problems

i've wanted to ask for some help around about some problems i got with an old lap top and i cant seem to find out how to fix it, it would be greatly appreciated.

well, I have an old 486 laptop that doesnt want to boot up, more exactly when i turn it on you can hear the hd small clicks that it does ,and the fan and such noise stuff , no beeps still, exept the floppy light doesnt turn on ,but then it does that but the screen never *turns on* it just stays black all the whole time.

i've tried opening it and removed the 2 packs of batteries so it could reset the bios or something like that so i would see if it would boot but still same, like if it were on but black screen , and apparently it doesnt go out of the bios because the "busy" light is always off xept for an instant when you turn the lap top on.
Another thing is that it did work before normally but not anymore after i turned it off, i've tried turning on with or without battery and main batteries as well.

One time i managed to turn it on and it gave me that the bios was clear and then it booted it up all normally but after turning it off and turning it on the other day it didnt want to boot anymore and the screen would stay black like before. Also i've tried to connect it directly to a normal pc screen but it stays black as well , it give's the no signal message.
I have no idea how i did it still , and i have cero experience with laptops hardware and how they work and such stuff.

Help's greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance.

well the brand and model im not exactly sure, its like MegaBook and some number after, ill check and post once im able to.
To be more exact about the HD ,it does a couple of clicks not really loud , then you just can hear the sound of hd .
Also i saw in another post that holding the power in 1-5 mins would reset the bios , without batteries or plugged on the wall, it didnt work , still same dead screen,

BTW if the bios were fried , how did it boot before when the bios got reset?
