    continuous boot 'loop'

    hello

this morining i woke up and switched on the computer, and this is what happened, and what keeps happning:

the leds flash like normal, i get that high-pitched beep like normal, but then a few seconds later, when it gets to "Detecting IDE Drives" the screen goes black for about a second, then a message flashes very briefly (im very sure its that "no signal imput" thing when the monitor is on but the computer ain't)

and then it repeats the above things. i left it going like that for 1 minute to make sure it cant fix itself, it didn't. duh.

ive never encountered anything like this before, right now im on a secondary comp. specs of my comp:

    AthlonXP 2800 (not overclocked)
    512 mb ddr400
    K7N2 Delta mobo
    Radeon 9600 XT 128mb

Perhaps clearing the CMOS might straighten it out:

    K7N2 Delta

    MSI Reminds You...
You can clear CMOS by shorting 2-3 pin while the system is off.
Then return to 1-2 pin position. Avoid clearing the CMOS while
the system is on; it will damage the mainboard.

Some boards also recommend removing the battery during this process.
    Couldn't hurt to that also.
